It all feels rather pointless most times. All way too much effort, with no rewards. To the point where you wonder why you even bother.
Happy Valentine’s day! X

ANGELA RICCI REVEALS HER NEW ‘LAZY LOVE’Independently released second single serves as timely Valentine’s Day soundtrackFollowing on from her well-received debut single ‘So Good’, Angela Ricci presents the jazzy-pop sounds of ‘Lazy Love’.
The sultry-sweet ballad, produced by Aaron Paul, is enhanced by Angela’s nonchalant and dreamy delivery. The track, bearing her hallmark of creating simple songs with relatable sentiments, story-tells of a yin-yang couple and their “lazy-crazy” relationship: “He’s got that lazy love/The type of love that doesn’t show how much he cares…She’s got that crazy love/She doesn’t mind already using his last name…” The coffee-shop jazz instrumentation serves as the perfect backdrop to the casual feel of the track.
The accompanying visuals portray the ballad’s nostalgic essence, where Ricci promenades through the cobbled streets of an Italian city in a Hepburn-like Breakfast at Tiffany’s manner. This mirrors the throwback sound prevalent throughout the forthcoming EP, in which she positions yesteryear genres within today’s day and age by adding a fresh pop spin.
Since graduating from Goldsmiths University with a Drama and Theatre Arts degree, Angela has performed as backing vocalist for top international acts including Kelis, Rita Ora and The Heavy. With the release of her second single ‘Lazy Love’, Angela Ricci continues to pave a path for herself as an artist in her own right.
